How to delete your data from Alapi

You can have your personal data removed from Alapi in any of the following ways:

1. Remove the app from Facebook (automatic)

Go to your Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Alapi, and remove it. Facebook then notifies us automatically, and we delete the Facebook data associated with your account and return a confirmation code.

2. Merchant: disconnect a Page

If you are a Merchant, open your Alapi dashboard, go to Pages, and click Disconnect. This revokes the stored Page access token and stops all message processing for that Page.

3. Email us

Send a request to support@alapi.chat from the email tied to your account, or include your Facebook Page name. We delete the requested data within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What gets deleted

Stored Facebook Page access tokens and Page connection records.
Conversation records: page-scoped user IDs (PSIDs), names, profile pictures, and message history.
For Merchant account closure: account profile and related settings.

Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing/tax records) for the minimum legally required period.
